Staffador Breed Summary
Gentle, Energetic, Loyal, Affectionate and Enthusiastic
These doggies are a relatively new hybrid breed and are a cross between a Labrador and a Staffordshire Terrier. As they are so new, there isn't too much information regarding their personalities, though if you look at the parent breeds, they are most likely to be great lovers of children and very playful in nature!
Additionally, they should have a lot of energy and should be placed with a family who already lead an active life that they can easily slot into. They will also need access to outdoor space and have plenty of walkies and daily exercise to remain fit and healthy!
Fun Fact: They are really good around children as they are both gentle and love to play!

Staffador's have exceptional patience and are also extremely gentle, making them perfect for families with younger children – they will even be able to get away with dressing their doggy up! Just don't disturb them during meal time, otherwise 'hooman' hand may also be on the menu! These doggies also make good watch dogs if they are trained to act like this from a young age. However, they will never act aggressive towards strangers and only really see other dogs as a threat, so socialisation is very important in order to improve their moods towards other animals. It's important that these doggies receive lots of exercise, both physical and mental! They are a very enthusiastic breed and love nothing more than running around the garden or joining in with games.
The Staffador is a relatively new breed and has a limited history. The breed is a cross between a Labrador and an American Staffordshire Terrier. Labradors are well-known for helping fishermen and their excellent retrieving and hunting skills. Staffie's are thought to be a mix between the Bulldog and a Terrier and they were originally developed for bull baiting and pit fighting. A cross between these two dogs has made a breed which is strong athletic and ready for types of fun! They also have very strong jaws from their Staffie ancestry but also could potentially make great swimmers as well, just like their Lab parents.
