These cute little pooches have a personality that matches their looks! They're known for being incredibly affectionate and loving towards their 'hoomans', only wanting to please! They are equally loyal as well and will form strong ties with their families. However, this does mean that they are prone to separation anxiety, so they are best suited to a home where someone will be with them for most of the day. The last thing that you'd want is a broken-hearted pup! However, Bich Poo's are excellent for first-time owners who have the time to commit to them. As young pups they can be a little rowdy, but this can be sorted through lots of socialisation and training. And considering they are an intelligent breed, training will take no time at all!

These sweet little clouds of fluff first came about in Australia, during the 1990s. They were created in response to 'hoomans' that suffered pet allergies who wanted a low-shedding and affectionate dog. Essentially, they are cross between a Bichon Frise and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. Although not yet recognised by the Kennel Club, they are recognised by the Designer Canine Registry (which we think sounds much posher!). However, if breeders continue to raise Bich-Poo's and they develop their own traits, they may not be too far off being considered part of this prestigious club!
