Springadors have the ability to have extremely kind natures and make incredible family pets. Their ancestry also means that they should have caring personalities and make very intelligent doggies. The only downside of their vast intellect is that they have the ability to learn things quickly – both good and bad! So, it's vital you don't 'accidentally' train your dogs to do things that shouldn't be. They are fantastic with both young children and elderly people and love to be involved with all kinds of 'hooman' activities, whether that means watching you make dinner or sitting with you while you have a bath! However, each dog at this stage, will have a unique personality to its other brothers and sisters, so as long as they receive lots of love, socialization and training, they make lovely family pets.

This relatively new 'designer breed' is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Springer Spaniel. Although the aim of this cross is that the parents pass on their skills and temperament, the newness of the breed means that this doesn't necessarily always happen, and litters of these pups often vary. But seeing as the lab has remarkable intelligence and is always eager to please, alongside the Springer Spaniel who is both easy to train and good with children, the product should be that of an almost perfect doggy! If you want the correct kind of puppy however, it's a good idea to source your Springador from a reputable breeder and also to check that the stud dogs are tested for hereditary illnesses, to ensure you have a healthy pup.
