Homemade Dog Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
3 tbsp Honey
4 Large Eggs
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
3 tbsp Carob Powder
1 tsp Baking Powder

Optional Toppings

Cream Cheese
Dog Biscuits

Method

1. Heat your oven to 356°F (180 °C).

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, honey and eggs. Next, add the flour, carob powder and baking powder and mix until just combined. Don’t worry if small bits of carob powder are still present.

3. Pour the batter into a baking tin.

4. Bake for 30 – 35 minutes, or until you can insert a skewer or toothpick and it comes out clean.

5. Wait until cool, cut the brownies into squares and then decorate with cream cheese and dog biscuits.

6. Surprise your dog with their yummy treat!

The size of your homemade dog brownies will depend on the size of the baking tin you use - for thinner brownies, use a large baking tin and check at 25-30 minutes.
Don’t fur-get to adjust the amount of food you give your dog on the days when they enjoy these homemade dog brownie treats, this way they can avoid overindulging.
