Here at Yappy, we love an affectionate dog, which is exactly what the Aussiedoodle can offer you. They are loving, warm and devoted to their owners, so raising these pups outside or in kennels is not good for them. They require constant human interaction to stay happy chappy's but must be trained correctly so that they understand that there are rules and boundaries. Because one of the parent breeds is a Shephard dog, the Aussiedoodle can sometimes retain herding instincts, so it may be best to train this breed early, so you don't come home to a house full of sheep!
These very sweet little bundles of fur are a relatively new 'designer' dog breed and have come about from breeding between the Poodle and Australian Shepherd Dog. Both of their parents are notorious for their high intelligence, so it's no surprise that their offspring is equally as bright (and potentially a lot fluffier!). Their intelligence has led to some say that this breed can 'read hooman minds' – whether this is good or bad, we don't know… They are also extremely active pups, so will need a family willing to take them on long walks around the park. They also get on really well with children, ready for all kinds of games and form great bonds with their families. These pooches come in a variety of colors, everything from black through to red and white, so if you're considering adding an Aussiedoodle to the family, you'll have lots of variety to choose from!
