To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, the Queen Consort and the royal couple’s love of dogs, Yappy has launched a nationwide search to find the UK’s most regal dogs, with two lucky winners being crowned ‘Lord and Lady Fluff’ in our photo competition.
Each crowned canine will win a range of personalised gifts to mark their new impaw-tant roles as ‘Heads of Royal Fluffiness.’
We’re a nation of dog lovers and the royal family are no exception. During Her Majesty’s reign, Queen Elizabeth II owned over 30 Pembroke Welsh Corgis and the crowning of our new King and Queen will no doubt shine the spotlight on the new official heads of fluff royalty - the couple’s two adorable Jack Russell Terriers, Beth and Bluebell.
Adopted from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in 2017, the two beloved woofers are expected to move into Buckingham Palace once refurbishment work is complete, making history as the first-ever rescue dogs to live at the palace.
To honour this right royal occasion and the arrival of the couple’s new dogs into the majestic household, we’re on the hunt to find the most regal dogs in all the land and celebrate the pups who look, behave and hold themselves like a King or Queen - and won’t let their owners forget it for a second!
