This little pooch is a hybrid cross of the Minature Schnauzer and the Daschund. These charismatic, affectionate breeds are considered a small sized dog that appears to be quite heavily built. The Schnoxie can develop either a smooth, straight coat or a dense, wiry coat. Some may be hypoallergenic and are often low shedders. Schnoxies are loving dogs that will bond very tightly to the owners and these guys can do well in all households as they are easy to train however, bear in mind that some Schnoxies can be quite vocal. Those who enjoy barking may not be suited to an apartment lifestyle.
Fun Fact: Miniature Schnoxies tend to act like quite the clown but are actually very intelligent pooches.

The Miniature Schnoxie is a loving, loyal and curious little hybrid that will tag along with their owners wherever they go. Due to their pleasing nature, these hybrids can be quite easy to train. However, some Schnoxies can be quite stubborn and strong-willed. They will need a firm owner who will set boundaries and house rules.
Schnoxies can make great companions for families with children and other pets but it is never a good idea to leave any dog unsupervised with another pet or a child. When encountering a stranger, your Schnoxie may bark and be very cautious. Schnoxie's don't have an aggressive bark, their barks are meant to warn their owners however, as these dogs can be quite vocal, they may not be suited to apartment or urban lifestyle.
The Miniature Schnoxie is a designer breed that is most likely to have only emerged within the last decade. As the hybrid is still considered a new breed, not much information is available out there regarding his purpose and creation. However, the Miniature Schnoxie is currently recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club, the Designer Breed Registry, Designer Dogs Kennel Club, Dog Registry of America and the International Designer Canine Registry.
