Cuddly, Loving, Playful and Energetic
The Bugg, is a mix between the Boston Terrier and the Pug. A cuddly pooch with a heart of gold, the Bugg takes on amazing traits from both the Pug and the Boston Terrier. Small in stature but big in love, this is a little dog that only gets up to around 25 pounds when fully grown. This makes them an excellent choice for a lap dog and companion; they are a manageable size and have gentle, playful personalities which make them perfect to have around children.
The only negative aspects of this breed lie in the Boston Terrier's territorial streak. If this issue goes unchecked, this pooch may not let anyone else near their beloved master, which can be a problem. However, with early socialization and training, this tendency can be curbed, and you will have a loving, gentle, good-natured Bugg that will be a wonderful companion for any home.
Fun Fact: Bugg's do not suffer with dog odor and only need to be bathed once a month.

Because the Bugg is a combination of two dog breeds, they are going to have a blend of personality traits. Thankfully, the Pug and the Boston Terrier have very mild and sweet dispositions that make them extremely lovable and great companion dogs.
The Bugg takes after the clownish personality of the Boston Terrier as well as the energetic yet cuddly side of the Pug. While this hybrid breed will be easy to train thanks to their fun-loving personality, there may be some difficulty with territorial behavior and barking. These issues can get out of hand if unaddressed, however, with early training and socialization your Bugg can overcome these traits and be an awesome companion and friend. This breed does great with kids, other pets, and can live in any size of home without issue.
The Bugg breed is relatively young. It has been designed with the purpose of being a lap dog or a companion dog. The Bugg was created sometime during the 2000's when a Pug was crossbred with a Boston Terrier. There are no exact records on how and who came up with the idea to do so, but it appears that it might have been an accident at first.
Nevertheless, the breed is highly popular now and has reached heights that no one could have imagined. More and more people are interested in getting one of these loveable pooches and we can truly understand why.
